Let's Work Together

Project Classification & SOW

This project began as a straightforward cabinet installation in a kitchenette / basement bar area and evolved into a multi-space residential renovation that required advanced finish carpentry, custom fabrication, and full project leadership.

What started with a single scope grew organically as trust was built, ultimately positioning Jennifer to step into a general contractor / project manager role when an existing vendor was unable to complete the work.

Project Strengths

This project highlights Jennifer’s ability to operate beyond a single trade, offering clients both craftsmanship and leadership. Key strengths demonstrated:

  • Adaptability when a contractor failed to deliver

  • Seamless project management during a vendor change

  • High level of trust built with the homeowner

  • Willingness to take on additional responsibility as needed

  • Attention to detail across highly specialized spaces

This trust-driven referral project evolved from a single installation into a high-responsibility, multi-space renovation. The outcome reflects: thoughtful craftsmanship, strong problem-solving under pressure, clear communication and leadership, and a finished home that feels cohesive across very different spaces.

Client Trust Building

As the project progressed, Jennifer was invited to take on additional work outside the original Scope of Work due to demonstrated craftsmanship & strong rapport with the client.
Expanded responsibilities included:
  • Designing and building two custom wood light fixtures

  • Framing and finishing a golf simulator, including custom wood features

  • Stepping in as general contractor / project manager after a previous contractor was unable to fulfill the job

  • Managing the vendor transition seamlessly so the client experienced no disruption or stress

This shift required not only technical skill, but calm leadership and coordination behind the scenes.

Scope Expansion

Jennifer’s role ultimately extended across multiple spaces within the home, requiring precision, sequencing, and consistency.
Completed Work Included:
  • Installation of custom 10-foot solid wood doors

  • Full trim-out for two master bedrooms and two master baths

  • Jiu-Jitsu studio – Artwork installation and wall mat installation

  • Home gym – Finished trim work
